On the last day of our recent visit we decided to have a day off and visit a restaurant for lunch.
Les Trois Petits Couchons as recommended by my neighbour Yoyo.
I had visited before for a quick drink and found it full of happy locals having their lunch.
We decided to cycle the five miles from Argeliers to the restaurant at Ginestas. It was well worth it for 13.90Euros we had three courses and 1/4 of wine each. The starters were large a plate of charcuterie and smoked salmon and prawns. this was followed by lamb stew and steak and chips. There was also plenty of baguette and we seemed to have nearly a bottle of red wine.
For sweet their was cheesecake with raspberry sauce. All the food was very good and even enough to fill Eric.
As we left contentedly we were given pens advertising the restaurant. An excellent end to our stay in Aude.
