There are other picturesque villages nearby and within 30 minutes drive are the historic towns of Narbonne and Beziers. A little further are the resorts on the Mediterranean coast.

Argeliers is about 10 hours drive from Calais but about an hour Carcassonne airport which has flights from several UK airports.
